Jane Gallan is married with three boys and combines a busy work and family life with singing on a regular basis. She started her solo singing ministry over 20 years ago and has also been involved in various choirs, bands and duets within that period, performing in many churches within Scotland and has taken part in concerts throughout Scotland, England and Northern Ireland.
Trinity are a new Gospel Trio Group hailing from Larkhall in Lanarkshire. Pamela Black, Robert Paterson and Hazel Brooks, three friends who share their love for The Lord with others through Southern Gospel music. Their natural chemistry gives rise to voices which blend in rich tones and effortless harmonies, which have been enjoyed by so many. They are excited to be a part of this year's praise.
Alex Gray was born and educated in Glasgow, the city that provides the backdrop to her DCI Lorimer crime novels. Married with two children and two grandchildren, Alex enjoys spending time with family when not pursuing her vicarious life of crime. As well as writing the novels, Alex also writes articles, poetry and monologues based on scriptural characters. She joined the Church of Scotland as a teenager, having been brought up there from infant baptism through Sunday School, Bible class and youth fellowship. Alex regularly gives talks to church groups throughout Scotland.
by Grace was formed in 2008 as a live band to support Colin Mackenzie but is also a band in its own right. The all age band of 8 are all Christians local to Wishaw, and in addition to some local concerts they have also performed in Belarus. The girl singers were contributers with Colin on the Power2Live CD
Crystal Clear - Ruby, Wendy and Yvonne are a mother , daughter and niece Gospel trio. They are from the west of Scotland and have been singing for around fifteen years.
They appreciate greatly the support they have been given throughout the years they have been singing the Gospel.
One Way - Jim, Sadie and Beverly - have been singing together for over twenty years. Their message is about Jesus, what He has done in each of their lives and what He can do for anyone who puts their trust in Him. The group have been greatly blessed as they go around churches, retirement homes and anywhere they have the opportunity to spread the good news in song. To date they have recorded three CDs - So Blessed, The Way that He loves and A Child is born.
Ministry in Song - based in central Scotland - Peter, Tommy, Wilma and Ian have been singing and sharing God's word throughout Scotland for several years. Their mission as a group is to preach the Gospel to the sinner, bring restoration to the backslider and to encourage the saints of God on their way to Glory.
Their style is a mixture of well loved old hymns and Southern Gospel music. THey feel that conveying the Word in song is the most important part of their service, hence the name 'Ministry in Song.'
